Our Mission

SheGives is a private foundation of passionate, powerful women who have created a flexible platform to catalyze support for a broad range of philanthropies founded in and around Boston. The nonprofits selected by SheGives are best-in-class operations solving intractable social problems with innovative models. They are at a point of inflection where the introduction of new capital, knowledge, and networks will help them achieve their goals. They represent a range of issue areas that resonate with our membership.

SheGives considers nonprofits on an invitation only basis, taking nominations from our membership and a select close circle of advisers and trusted friends. We operate a rigorous vetting process, with the goal of selecting four nonprofits each year for a total of eight on its two year slate.
